Soul Singer Makes A Great Start At Musselburgh

Our first 2-year-old runner came this week with Soul Singer making the long journey to Musselburgh for their first 2-year-old race of the season. Soul Singer is by the new stallion Land Force out of the good mare Merry Diva. He’s been very precocious since arriving at Habton Grange and was the 2YO runner of the season for the yard.

It was a warm-looking race at Musselburgh with some expensive horses taking part. Soul Singer took everything in his stride in the preliminaries and looked a picture in the Scottish sun. Despite being hampered at the start by a wayward rival Soul Singer ran a brilliant race showing plenty of speed over the sharp 5f. David Allan was very pleased with the run as an introduction and thinks he will be one to follow this year.
